Today we did hand dramas, but before that point of the class, we lay on our backs, discovering our hands and moving them to some music. I figured which hand is my dominant, light, female hand: right hand. my left hand is the passive, dark, male hand. So the hand dramas: my hands=actor, my eyes=director. I rehearsed the plays several times to the same music.
My hand drama: A male being (I just realised that I actually did use my left hand for this role) was standing on a balcony of sorts, just looking out at his environment. A female being flits onto the stage, under the male's balcony. He notices her, wishes to capture her. He descends upon her slowly, by a rope. The female is for some reason attached to this rope and can't escape this man.She eventually gets engulfed by the male. My partner interpreted the left hand as a
.....................spider,
which makes a lot of sense. and the female character would be the
prey,
venturing onto the spider's web.
My partner's story:A woman (around twenty years old) walks on stage and tells the audience about her problems regarding her boyfriend on front/left and front/right stage. Her boyfriend comes out, tells the audience some negative things about the woman. Both of them start spewing out secrets about each other, sometimes simutaneously. The boyfriend leaves and the woman tells the audience a bit more, having the last word.
