Talkin about Cosi today.
First we we described what we saw and heard: dark, lights, theatre, costumes.
Raymon asked us questions. Who was this person? What was he/she wearing? What colour was...? Props.
Then we reported any other observations.
Did some guesswork: why did ____ do that? why did ____ feel that way?
This is the DOG approach. It's pretty objective.
Once a person finishes "dogging" the play, than he/she can reverse the acronym and play GOD, ergo: make judgements. One should not be so quick to play God without doing DOG first.
